After Christmas Fun

Tim had to head back to Phoenix the Tuesday morning after Christmas. We were so thankful he got 5 days off at Christmas! But we were sure sad to see him go! We decided since we were already in Utah, Tim would be busy busy at the hospital, Kate had the time off of school and I was able to book 3 plane tickets with our old Southwest points for only $18 total we stayed and enjoyed family and fun in Utah until the 5th of January! We packed in a lot of fun including:
  • Lots of grandparent and cousins time!
  • SNOW!!!
  • Sledding with cousins
  • Skiing with my Dad
  • Making gingerbread men
  • Going out to lunch
  • Lots of dressing up
  • Lots of dancing to Moana
  • Watching a lot of Elena of Avalor at Grandma's house
  • Tea parties
  • Catching up with old friends
  • Eating lots of yummy food/treats

Almost 14 years ago two of my best friends, Ashley and Jenny and I made a time capsule. We made plans to open it in July 2016 when we would all be 30 years old. July didn't happen but we made sure it happened this trip. It was seriously one of the best nights ever getting together, laughing and reminiscing with these girls.

  3. So many memories!! I've loved catching up on all your holiday happenings. That sledding looks like a blast! And I'm so curious what was in your time capsule! What a good idea.
