Henry- 7 months

I know I say this everyone month but it seems especially true this month...this boy is growing up! Way too fast! It's been a big month! Here's the Henry update:
  • He's been rolling and able to move across a room for a couple weeks but gegan being proficient at army crawling October 5, 2016.
  • Loves to "talk!" Says bababababa (starting at the end of September) and dadadadada (beginning September 28th).
  • Became proficient at tripoding right when we got back from Colorado. And is now sitting up like a champ (beginning this week October 10th)! He certainly has toppled over and bonked his head a few times but he has really gotten the hang of it and now does it all of the time.  It is crazy to think he was crawling before he sat up. That was not the case with either of the girls. I guess it's true what they say about boys being more physical!
  • I've been trying for a month to get him to eat solids. But as Tim put it he just wants the good stuff aka milk. Finally we had a breakthrough last night and he enjoyed quite a bit of carrots. He ate a decent amount of rice cereal and bananas tonight. I think it's coming along. He just prefers to feed himself I think.
  • Still wearing size 2 diapers and wears 6-9 month clothing.
  • Is asleep by 7pm. And often wants to go to bed before than...anywhere from 6:20-7pm.
  • Usually is up once a night around 4am but has been sleeping totally through the night a couple more times this last week.
  • Loves to laugh and be tickled.
  • Loves his big sisters and smiles and laughs the best for them!
  • Loves being outside, sitting up in the stroller and going for walks! When he gets fussy in the early evening (you know those witching hours) I often just pack up the kids after dinner and we go for a stroll/bike ride and he's a happy camper.
  • First swing October 2, 2016 in City Park, Denver, Colorado.

  1. Oh Henry, you are so cute! What a darling little boy! How fun that he is crawling and sitting up. It's hard to believe he is already 7 months old. I know he is adored by his sisters and that he loves them too. Love you so much!
