Our Garden

We are happy to announce that our little garden despite the drought and awful hot is growing and has started to produce! That's right...we have picked 5 zucchini, 1 yellow squash,  2 green bell peppers, and 2 yellow cherry tomatoes! Pretty sweet!

Tim and I both grew up planting a garden and were super excited that there was just the place for one in our backyard.  Tim had to work really really hard to get the spot ready but thankfully we are now beginning to see the fruits of our labors. Fresh sauteed zucchini is on the menu tonight!

Kate's excited about the garden too! Oh and notice her pigtails :)

  1. AWESOME! Way to go you guys - it makes me wish I would have been a little less lazy and planted a garden :) And Kate's little piggies are SO cute!

  2. Wohoo!! You guys are pros! Way to be self sufficient. :) I tried putting pig tails in Oakley's hair on Sunday and first of all she was wiggly and it took FOREVER and then they fell out before we even got to church! so you'll have to show me how you do it sometime.
