Good Bye Rocky Mountains, Hello Rolling Hills

So we made it to Iowa! Tim, Kate, and I packed up the car and headed out on Monday to come to our new home in Coralville, Iowa (just next to Iowa City, IA). We arrived at 10 pm on Tuesday night. Kate did awesome on the long drive out! She slept like a champion. We were so fortunate.

We have been spending most of our time unpacking but have also taken some time to do a little bit of exploring around town. I forgot how long it takes to unpack and get situated. It just takes longer than you think but we are making great progress. If you didn't know we are renting a 3-bedroom house. It is so nice to have more space. Pictures to come...we do not have internet yet and don't want to spend too long at the library. Today we woke up and headed to the weekly farmers market in Iowa City. It was fun to see all of the local farmers with their produce, cheese and meat. We also took a quick glance at the old capital building. We are certainly adjusting to our new life here in Iowa. We miss our families so much! The last 6 weeks in Utah was wonderful. But we are also excited for the fun to come. It will be great here too. Go Hawkeyes!
